
EUR du Grand Paris FRAPP (“Francophonies and Plurilingualism: Language Policy”) offers the applications for annual scholarships for international students who will get accepted into a Master in 2023-2024 of the curriculum FRAPP (Europen Law FRAPP, Litterature FRAPP, Languages, Literatures and Cultures in an International Context FRAPP (LLCCI), History FRAPP, Philosophy FRAPP, International Politic Science) or a doctorate at UPEC. It encourages one or more disciplines research project on literature, languages and human and social sciences, focusing on plural Francophonies and Plurilingualism and / or on the geopolitics of power, institutions and biopolitical questions examined through the lens of these situations.
Maximum of €11,000 annual scholarship payment is paid from September 1, 2023 to August 31, 2024. It will potentially be renewable.
Candidates who will have finished their single cycle degree (Bachelor and / or Master) in a foreign university, must have already received a registration agreement from one of the FRAPP Masters (Law, Litterature, Languages, Literatures and Cultures in an International Context (LLCCI), History, Philosophy, International Politic Science) or an agreement from a doctoral supervisor to make their thesis topic a part of one of the Research Units that are members of the EUR consortium: CEDITEC, CRHEC, ERUDITE, IMAGER, Lab’Urba (“Inequalities, discriminations” team), LIPHA, LIRTES, LIS, MIL (UPEC), SeDYL (IRD).
The selected PhD candidates will enroll at UPEC for the academic year 2022-2023, and, in case of codirection, at one of the 3 Doctoral Schools concerned by Paris-Est Sup., ex-Université Paris Est (Cultures and Societies; Organizations, Markets, Institutions; City, Transport and Territories).
